알파글로빈 전사인자 CP2는 TFCP2 [5][6]유전자에 의해 인간에서 암호화되는 단백질이다.

TFCP2는 후기 SV40인자(LSF)라고도 불리며 잘 알려진 종양유전자 AEG-1에 [7]의해 유도된다. LSF는 간세포암에서도 [8]종양유전자 역할을 한다.LSF는 MMP9(metaloproteinase-9)[9]를 전사적으로 상향 조절함으로써 혈관신생을 강화한다.
