단백질 SOX-15는 SOX15 ^[5]^[6]^[7]유전자에 의해 인간에게 암호화되는 단백질이다.

이 유전자는 배아발달의 조절과 세포운명의 결정에 관여하는 전사인자의 SOX(SRY 관련 HMG박스) 패밀리의 일원을 부호화한다.암호화된 단백질은 다른 ^[7]단백질과 단백질 복합체를 형성한 후 전사 조절기 역할을 할 수 있다.
