HNF1BHNF1 호메오박스 B(헤파토세포 핵인자 1 호메오박스 B)는 HNF1B 또는 전사인자 2(TCF2)로도 알려져 있는 인간 유전자이다.
기능.
HNF1B는 호메오박스 함유 염기성 나선나선나선족 단백질인 간세포 핵인자 1-베타를 코드한다.HNF1B 단백질은 HNF1A라는 전사인자 패밀리의 다른 멤버와 헤테로디머를 형성하는 것으로 생각되며, HNF1B 동질체에 따라서는 표적 유전자의 전사를 활성화하거나 억제할 수 있다.HNF1B의 결핍은 모체 접합자 전환의 이상과 초기 배아 발생 실패를 [5][6]일으킨다.정상 기능을 방해하는 HNF1B 돌연변이가 MODY 5(Mature-Onset of 당뇨, Type 5)의 원인으로 확인되었다.세 번째 인간 전사 변종은 쥐의 그러한 변종에 근거해 존재하는 것으로 믿어지고 있다. 그러나 지금까지 그러한 mRNA 종은 [7]분리되지 않았다.
