스토비(Stovies atties, stoped tatie, stopters, stopvers 또는 stopbocks)[1][2][3]는 감자를 기반으로 한 스코틀랜드의 요리다. 요리법과 재료는 매우 다양하지만, 그 요리에는 감자, 지방, 보통 양파, 그리고 종종 고기 조각이 들어있다. 어떤 버전에서는 다른 야채들도 첨가될 수 있다.[4]

감자는 지방이 있는 밀폐된 냄비에서 천천히 조림하여 요리되며(라드, 소고기 방울 또는 버터를 사용할 수 있다)[1][5] 소량의 물이나[1] 때로는 우유, 육수 또는 고기 젤리와 같은 다른 액체를 사용하여 요리된다.[1][4] 스토비는 차가운 고기나[1] 오트케이크와[6][7][8][9][10] 함께 제공될 수 있으며, 때로는 절인 비트루트와 함께 제공될 수도 있다.[11][12]

"난로"는 스코틀랜드어로 "찌개"를 의미한다.[2][13][3] 이 용어는 프랑스 형용사 étuvé에서[1] 나온 말로, 조리된 것으로 번역된다.[14][15] 고기가 없는 버전은 바핏(barfit)으로, 고기가 있는 버전은 하이힐러(high-heeler)로 불릴 수 있다.[3]
