함수
이 유전자는 펩타이드 호르몬의 쉘시스토키닌(CCK) 계열의 황화 부재를 결합하는 G단백질 결합 수용체를 암호화한다.이 수용기는 췌장 효소 분비와 담낭과 위장의 원활한 근육수축의 주요 생리학적 매개체다.중추신경계와 말초신경계에서 이 수용체는 포만감과 베타엔돌핀과 도파민의 분비를 조절한다.[5]null
이 단백질의 세포외, N-단자, 영역은 몇 개의 헬리컬 턴과 이황화-크로스 링크 루프로 구성된 3차 구조를 채택한다.셀시스토킨 A 수용체와 해당 호르몬 리간드의 상호작용을 위해 필요하다.[6]null
