GPR6라고도 알려진 G 단백질 결합 수용체 6은 인간에게 GPR6 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질이다.[5][6]

함수

GPR6는 Transmbrane 수용체 G 단백질 결합 수용체군의 일원이다.GPR6는 둘 다 구성적으로 활성 상태지만, 또한 스핑고신-1-인산염에 의해 추가로 활성화되는 것으로 보고되었다.[7]

GPR6는 주기적 AMP 수치를 상향 조절하고 뉴런의 성장을 촉진한다.[8]
