조직 분포
VIPR2는 자궁, 전립선, 위장관의 매끄러운 근육, 정맥과 피부, 혈관, 흉선에 표현된다.[6][7]VIPR2는 소뇌에도 표현된다.[8]null
함수
VIP(Vasoactive 펩타이드)와 PACAP(Polypeptide)를 활성화하는 뇌하수체 아데닐레이트 사이클라아제는 신경전달물질과 신경내분비 호르몬의 기능을 하는 동종 펩타이드다.VIP 수용체(VIRP 1, 2)와 PACAP 수용체(ADCYAP1R1)는 호몰로지(homology)를 공유하지만 기질 특이성과 표현 패턴이 다르다.[5]VIPR2 전도는 아데닐레이트 사이클라아제 활성을 상향 조절한다.[9]나아가 VIPR2는 VIP의 항염증 효과를 매개한다.[10]null
VPAC2 녹아웃 생쥐를 사용한 연구는 그것을 체외 시계, 성장, 기저 에너지 지출 및 남성 재생산의 기능에 포함시킨다.[11][12][13][14]null
VIPR2 및/또는 PAC1 수용체 활성화가 인간의 피부 활성 혈관절제술에 관여한다.[15]null
스플라이스 변형은 VIP-VIPR2 축의 면역억제 기여도를 변경할 수 있다.[16]null
