IL18RAP 와 CDw218b (분화 w218b)라고도 알려진 인터루킨 18 수용체 부속 단백질 은 인간의 유전자 다.[5] [6]
함수 이 유전자에 의해 인코딩 된 단백질은 IL18용 이질 수용체 의 부속 소단위다. 이 단백질은 IL18 수용체의 리간드 결합 소단위인 IL18R1 (IL1RP)의 IL18 결합 활성을 강화한다. IL18R1과 이 단백질의 공존은 IL18에 대응한 NF-κB 와 MAPK8 (JNK)의 활성화에 필요하다.[5]
질병 연관성 IL18RAP의 변형은 Coeliac 질병 에 대한 민감성과 연관되어 있다.[7]
