CD42a로도 알려진 당단백질 IX(혈소판)(GP9)는 인간의 ^[5]유전자이다.

혈소판 당단백질 IX(GP9)는 사람의 혈소판 표면에 존재하는 작은 막 당단백질이다.당단백질 Ib(GP Ib)와 1대 1의 비공유복합체를 형성하며, 당단백질 Ib(GP Ib)는 폰 윌브랜드 인자(VWF; MIM 193400)의 수용체로 기능하는 혈소판 표면막 당단백질 복합체이다.수용체의 주요 부분은 2개의 폴리펩타이드 사슬, 알파 사슬(GP1BA; MIM 606672) 및 베타 사슬(GP1BB; MIM 138720)로 구성된 헤테로디머이다.완전한 수용체 복합체는 GP9 및 혈소판 당단백 V(GP5, MIM 173511)와 알파 및 베타 서브유닛의 비공유 결합을 포함한다.[OMIM ^[5]제공]
