김 W. 스톨우드(1955년생)[1]는 영국의 동물권 옹호자,[2] 작가, 독립학자, 컨설턴트다.[3]그는 동물권리연구소인 동물사회연구소의 유럽 이사다.동물권 잡지인 《동물 어젠다》(1993~2002)의 편집장을 지냈으며, 《동물을 위한 말하기》(2001)와 《동물권리 입문서(2002)》의 편집장을 맡고 있다.[4]스톨우드는 그루피 비건이라는 이름으로 블로그를 한다.[5]

스톨우드는 영국 서리의 캠벌리에서 태어나고 자랐다.[6]
스톨우드는 동물 윤리적 대우를 위한 사람들의 전 국가 이사, 영국 생명 보호 폐지 연합의 캠페인 책임자, 그리고 그가 컨설턴트로 남아 있는 세계 농업의 컴패션의 국가 조직자(1976–1978)를 역임했다.[4]
동물사회연구소가 된 세계 최대 동물권 도서관인 동물권네트워크(ANN)의 창립자이기도 했다.[7]
2013년 스톨우드는 첫 번째 책인 '그롤: 인생 교훈, 딱딱한 진실, 동물 보호자로부터의 대담한 전략'을 랜턴북스와 함께 출간했다.그 책에는 브라이언 메이(Brian May)의 서문이 실려 있었다.[8][9]
