밀라세미드(INN)[2]는 MAO-B 억제제 및 글리신 프로드약이다.[3] 그것은 인간의 기억력에 미치는 영향과 알츠하이머 병의 증상에 대한 잠재적 치료법으로서 연구되어 왔다.[4] 그러나 초기 임상시험에서는 양성 반응이 나오지 않아 현재 이 약은 폐기되고 비처방약이나 보충제로 판매되고 있다.[3] 마일레이스미드는 아미노산염은 아니지만, 뇌의 글리신과 유사하게 작용한다.[5]
