STK4세린/트레오닌-단백질 키나아제 4는 인간에서 STK4 유전자에 의해 암호화된 효소다.[5][6][7]
함수
이 유전자가 인코딩한 단백질은 구조적으로 이스트 스테20p(멸균 20단백질) 키나아제와 유사한 세포질 키나아제로, 스트레스로 인한 미토겐 활성 단백질 키나아제(MAPK) 계단식 상류에 작용한다.인코딩된 단백질은 미엘린 기본 단백질을 인산화시킬 수 있고 자가인산화 과정을 거친다.인코딩된 단백질의 캐스파아제 제거된 조각은 히스톤 H2B를 인지할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.이 단백질에 의해 촉매되는 특정한 인산화효과는 세포사멸과 상관관계가 있어 이 단백질은 이 과정에서 관찰되는 염색체 응결을 유도할 가능성이 있다.[8]
상호작용
STK4는 PRKRIR와 상호작용하는 것으로 나타났다.[9]
STK4는 또한 Yap1 공동활성화기 변조를 통해 혈액학적 종양 세포 사멸을 예방하는 것으로 나타났다.[10]
