확장 사용
1993년, 데니스 린은 Plackett-Burman 설계의 반을 통한 건설 방법을 설명했는데, 나머지 열의 절반을 차지하기 위해 하나의 열을 사용했다.[5]결과 행렬(이 열 제외)은 거의 존재하지 않는다는 가정 하에 유의미한 첫 번째 순서 효과를 찾기 위한 "과포화 설계"[6]이다.
