소네트 61은 영국의 극작가 윌리엄 셰익스피어가 쓴 154개의 소네트 중 하나이다. 시인이 청년을 향한 사랑을 표현하는 공정 청년 서열의 일원이다.
구조
소네트 61은 영국식 또는 셰익스피어식 소넷으로, 3개의 쿼트럴과 마지막 라임 쿠플렛이 있다. 형식의 대표적인 운율 체계인 ABAB CDCD EFEF GG를 따르고, 5쌍의 미터법적으로 약한/강한 음절 위치를 바탕으로 한 시적 미터인 iambic pentameter로 구성되어 있다. 일곱 번째 줄은 일반 icambic pentameter를 예시한다.

첫 번째와 세 번째 행은 마지막 음절 또는 여성적인 결말을 가지고 있다.

비록 소네트 속의 많은 운율이 오늘날의 발음에 불완전하지만, 그것들은 셰익스피어 시대에 거의 완벽했다(또는 적어도 잠재적으로 그렇다). 운율인 "개방"과 "붕괴"는 비록 같은 운율이 금성과 아도니스 선 47과 48에서 발생하지만,[2] 소네트에서는 드물게 불완전한 운율을 구성한다.[3]
