Statistician

통계학자는 이론적인 통계학이나 응용적인 통계학을 다루는 사람이다.그 직업은 민간 부문과 공공 부문 모두에 존재한다.

통계지식을 다른 과목의 전문지식과 결합하는 것이 일반적이며, 통계학자는 종업원 또는 [1][2]통계 컨설턴트로 일할 수 있다.

일의 성질

미국 노동 통계국에 따르면, 2014년 현재 미국에서 통계학자로 분류된 일자리는 26,970개이다.이들 중 약 30%는 정부(연방, 주 또는 지방)[3]에서 근무했습니다.2021년 10월 현재, 미국의 통계학자의 중간 급여는 92,270달러이다.[4]
