칼륨 채널 서브 패밀리 K 멤버 6 은 인간에서 KCNK6 유전자 에 의해 인코딩 되는 단백질이다.[5] [6] [7] [8]
이 유전자는 두 개의 모공 형성 P 도메인을 포함하는 칼륨 채널 단백질의 슈퍼 패밀리의 하나인 K62P .1 을 암호화하고 있다. 개방형 정류기로 간주되는 K62P .1은 널리 표현되어 있다. 아라키돈산에 의해 자극을 받고, 내산화와 휘발성 마취에 의해 억제된다.[8]
