5-(2-Aminopropyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-indene (5-APDI), also known as indanylaminopropane (IAP), IAP (psychedelic), 2-API(2-aminopropylindane), indanametamine, and, incorrectly, as indanylamphetamine,[1] is an entactogen and psychedelic drug of the amphetamine family.[2][3] 인터넷을 통해 온라인 판매상들에 의해 판매되고 있으며 2003년부터 디자이너 약으로 접해 왔지만 최근 몇 년 사이 인기와 이용가능성이 떨어졌다.[1]
5-APDI는 각각 세로토닌, 도파민, 노르에피네프린 재흡수를 억제하는 IC50 값이 82nM, 1,848nM, 849nM인 강력한 선택적 세로토닌 방출제(SSRA) 역할을 한다.[2][3] 이것은 MBDB를 완전히 대체하지만 훈련된 동물에서는 암페타민을 대체하지 않는다. 하지만 후자의 경우 많은 용량으로 장애를 초래한다.[2]
5-APDI는 2014년 6월 10일부터 1971년 「약물 오용법」에 따라 B급 약물로 분류되어 왔다.
