케라틴 34

케라틴, 타입 I 커티큘러 Ha4는 인간에게 KRT34 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질이다.^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]

이 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질은 케라틴 유전자 계열의 일원이다. 제1종 헤어 케라틴으로서 제2종 케라틴으로 이단화시켜 머리카락과 손톱을 형성하는 산성 단백질이다. 제1형 헤어 케라틴은 염색체 17q12-q21의 영역에 군집되어 있으며 전사 방향이 같다.^[8]
