A Qari (lit. 'reader', Arabic: قَارِئ, plural قَارِئُونَ qāriʾūna, قُرَّاء qurrāʾ or قَرَأَة qaraʾah) is a person who recites the Quran with the proper rules of recitation (tajwid).[1]
권장되기는 하지만, 카리히가 반드시 코란을 외울 필요는 없고, 다만 선율적인 소리로 타즈위드의 규칙에 따라 암송하기 위해서일 뿐이다.
유명하고 잘 알려진 '이집트 읊는 학교'에 소속된 엘 민쇼이, 압둘 바짓트, 무스타파 이스마일, 알 후사리의 4각형은 일반적으로 이슬람 세계에 특출한 영향을 끼친 현대에 가장 중요하고 유명한 쿠라'로 여겨진다.[2][3][4][5]: 83
