사투디타

타보데 보름날에는 계절 별미인 히타메네사투디타 요리로 기부자들이 공동 준비한다.

사투디타(Burmese: စတုဒ;;; [sttddḭàa] 발음)버마 문화에서 두드러지게 나타나는 버마 전통의 향연이자 공로 제창 활동으로, 버마 문화 규범으로서의 관대함아첨의 중요성을 강화한다.[1]

어원

사투디타는 나침반의 네 지점에서 온 사람들에게 무료 음식이나 음료를 제공하는 자선 행위를 일컫는 말로 '4개의 추기경 방향'을 뜻하는 팔리(Pali) 용어의 버마어 발음이다.[2]

축하

Thingyan,[3] Thadingyut, Tazaungdaing 축제와 같은 주요 축제 동안,[4] 전국의 기부자들은 사투디타 축제를 주최하고, 모힌 와, Thingyan 쌀, Shwe ene aye, 과 같은 음식이나 디저트 소포를 준비하여, 흥청거리는 사람들과 지나가는 사람들에게 나누어 준다.[5][6] 사투디타 잔치는 흔히 니반 자이(နban္ဗာာ;;;;; '; 'Nirvana 시장')와 연계하여 개최되는데, 이 곳에서 지역 사회 구성원들이 쌀, 식용유, 양파 식기류 등의 식품 스테이플을 위한 기부 드라이브를 조직하여 가난한 사람들에게 나누어 준다.[7]
