자인 우주론에서 고무카(Gomukha)는 리샤바나타(Rishabhanatha)의 수호신 또는 약사(attendant god)로, 최초의 티르코파라(Tirchamara)이다.[1][2]

자인 전통에 따르면 고무카는 코끼리 위에 올라탄 무장한 약사 두 개 또는 네 개로 묘사되어 있다.[6] 이름에서 알 수 있듯이, 고무카는 황소의 머리를 가지고 있다.[7][8] 고무카는 왼손에는 고드를, 왼손에는 올가미를 들고 다닌다. 다른 두 개의 아래쪽 팔에는 고무카가 바라다와 소켓을 들고 있다.[9] 고무카-차크레슈와리의 약샤-야크시 한 쌍의 조각상은 암비카-사르바하나부티, 다라넨드라-파드마바티와 함께 가장 인기 있는 조각상 중 하나이다.[10] 엘로라 동굴에 있는 고무카약샤의 모습이 눈에 띈다.[11]
