C-X-C 모티브 케모카인 11(CXCL11)은 CXCL11[3]유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 부호화되는 단백질이다.
C-X-C 모티브 케모카인 11은 CXC케모카인족에 속하는 소형 사이토카인으로, Interferon-gamma-inclube protein 9(IP-9)라고도 불린다.말초혈액 백혈구, 췌장, 간에서 많이 발현되며 흉선, 비장, 폐에서 중간 수준, 소장, 태반, [4]전립선에서 발현 수준이 낮았다.
CXCL11의 유전자 발현은 IFN-γ 및 IFN-β에 의해 강하게 유도되며 IFN-α에 [5]의해 약하게 유도된다.이 케모카인은 세포 표면 케모카인수용체 CXCR3와 상호작용하여 표적 세포에 미치는 영향을 유도하며, 이 수용체에 대한 다른 리간드인 CXCL9 및 [4][6]CXCL10보다 높은 친화력을 가지고있다.그것의 유전자는 CXC 케모카인 [7][8]계열의 많은 다른 구성원들과 함께 인간 염색체 4에 위치해 있다.
