스리나가르(영어: / /sriːnəɡrr/ audio speaker icon(듣기), 카슈미르 발음: [시리ːnagar])인도 잠무와 카슈미르에서 가장 큰 도시이자 여름 수도다.인더스 지류인 젤룸 강둑안차르 호수에 있는 카슈미르 계곡에 놓여 있다.이 도시는 자연환경, 정원, 수상레저, 하우스보트로 유명하다.카슈미르 숄같은 전통적인 카슈미르 수공예품과 말린 과일으로도 알려져 있다.[11][12]인구 100만명이 넘는 최북단 도시인 [13]인도에서 32번째로 인구가 많은 도시며, 히말라야 산맥에 위치한 도시로는 카트만두에 이어 두 번째로 큰 도시다.

이름의 유래

칼 하나의 Rajatarangini 같은 가장 오래된 자료, 독특한 학자들에 의해 두가지 방법이 있습니다:하나,"시는 수리야의"(트랜스)"시 태양의"[14][15][16][17]과 Lakshmi"의 다른 것"시는"Shri"부의(श्री), 힌두교 여신, 의미"City 의미sūrya-nagar에서 해석되고 있는 산스크리트어 이름 shri-nagara에 대해 언급한다.[18][19][20][21][22][23]

1990년 1월 19일, 인도군에 의해 적어도 50명의 비무장 시위대를 가와카달 대학살, 그리고 목격자들의 증언에 의하면 280명까지, 1990년대 초중반 내내 스리나가르를 특징지었던 폭탄 폭발, 총격, 통행금지 등의 발판을 마련했다.[28][29]그 결과, 벙커와 검문소는 지난 몇 년 동안 전투성이 감소하면서 숫자가 줄었지만, 도시 전역에서 발견된다.그러나 2008년 8월 22일 카슈미르 시민 수십만명이 스리나가르에서 인도 통치에 항의하는 등 인도 통치에 반대하는 시위가 여전히 빈번하게 발생하고 있다.[30][31]비슷한 시위가 매년 여름 4년 동안 벌어졌다.2010년 한 해에만 120명의 시위대가 사망했는데, 이 중 상당수가 돌팔이와 방화범이었다.2013년 2월 아프잘 구루 처형 이후 대규모 시위가 벌어졌다.[32]2016년 무장단체 지도자 부르한 와니 사망 이후 계곡에서 대규모 시위가 벌어졌고 2016년 카슈미르 사태 때 인도군과 CRPF, 경찰에 의해 시위대 87여명이 숨졌다.

2019년 8월 잠무·카슈미르 특별지위 해제와 이에 따른 국가 연합 영토로의 이양 이후 스리나가르 등 카슈미르 지역에 대한 폐쇄 조치가 내려졌다.[33]이 잠금장치는 2021년 2월 5일까지 15개월 이상 계속됐다.파루크 압둘라총리, 오마르 압둘라 전 총리, 메부바 무프티총리 등 수천 명이 장기 구금됐다.[34]유니온 정부는 2021년 2월 15일 스리나가르 등 카슈미르 지역의 4G 모바일 인터넷 복원을 발표했다.[35]

지리

이 도시는 카슈미르 지방의 비야트라고 불리는 젤룸 강의 양쪽에 위치해 있다.강은 도시를 통과하고 골짜기를 굽이쳐 흐르며, 울라호에서 앞으로 나아가고 깊다.이 도시는 도시의 두 부분을 연결하는 아홉 개의 오래된 다리로 유명하다.

도시 안팎에는 수많은 호수와 늪이 있다., 니긴, 안차르, 쿠샬 사르, 길 사르, 호커사르 등이 이에 속한다.

호커사르는 스리나가르 근처에 위치한 습지다.겨울 철새 수천 마리가 시베리아 등지에서 호커사르로 온다.시베리아와 중앙아시아의 철새들은 카슈미르에 있는 습지를 9월에서 10월 사이에 임시 수용소로 사용하고, 봄 즈음에 다시 습지를 이용한다.이러한 습지는 많은 수의 월동, 산란, 번식하는 새들을 유지하는데 중요한 역할을 한다.

호커사르는 스리나가르에서 북쪽으로 14km(8.7mi) 떨어진 곳으로 호수와 습지대를 포함해 13.75km2(5.31mi)에 걸쳐 퍼져 있는 세계적 수준의 습지다.이곳은 카슈미르 습지 중 가장 접근하기 쉽고 잘 알려진 곳으로, 히감, 샬리부그, 미르군드가 있다.최근 몇 년간 기록적인 수의 철새가 호커사르를 방문했다.[36]

호커사르에서 발견된 새들은 브라미니 오리, 투피드 오리, 갓월, 가가니, 그레일락 거위, 청둥오리, 민둥오리, 북방 핀타일, 북방 파인트, 북방산 포차드, 루디 쉘드uck, 북방 산발톱니, 유라시아온 등을 포함하는 철새 오리들거위들이다.[37][38]

기후

Srinagar는 습도가 높은 아열대성 기후(Köppen Cfa)를 가지고 있다.계곡은 사방이 히말라야 산맥으로 둘러싸여 있다.겨울은 서늘하며, 낮 평균 기온이 2.5°C(36.5°F)까지 내려가며 밤에는 빙점 아래로 떨어진다.겨울에는 보통에서 폭설이 내리고 스리나가르와 인도의 나머지 지역을 연결하는 고속도로는 빙판길과 눈사태로 인해 자주 막힌다.여름은 7월 평균 낮 기온이 24.1°C(75.4°F)로 따뜻하다.연평균 강우량은 약 720밀리미터(28인치)이다.봄은 가장 습한 계절이고 가을은 가장 건조하다.신뢰성 있게 기록된 최고온도는 39.5℃(103.1℃)이고 최저온도는 -20.0℃(-4.0℃)이다.[39]

스리나가르 마르 운하의 시장배

2011년 11월, 지지 싱크탱크인 시장재단은 2006년부터 2020년까지의 실제 데이터를 바탕으로 스리나가르를 경제 성장 면에서 세계에서 92번째로 빠르게 성장하는 도시라고 발표했다.[43]

관광업

스리나가르는 "동양의 베니스"라고 불린 여러 곳 중 하나이다.[44][45][46]도시 주변의 호수에는 하우스 보트로 유명한 달 호수니긴 호수가 있다.달 호와 니긴 호를 제외하고, 울라 호마나스발 호수는 모두 스리나가르 북쪽에 놓여 있다.울라 호는 아시아에서 가장 큰 담수호 중 하나이다.

Srinagar에는 인도 아대륙 전역에 걸쳐 무굴 황제가 설치한 일부의 무굴 정원이 있다.스나가르와 그 근처에는 샤쉬마 샤히(왕실 분수대)와 파리 마할(요정의 궁전)이 있다.니샤트 바그(봄의 정원);샬리마르 바그, 나셈 바그.자와할랄 네루 기념 식물원은 1969년에 세워진 시내의 식물원이다.[47]인도 정부는 이들 정원을 잠무와 카슈미르 무굴정원 아래 세계문화유산 잠정목록에 포함시켰다.

셰르 가리 궁전에는 주 정부의 행정 건물들이 들어서 있다.[48]마하라하스의 또 다른 궁전인 굴라브 바반은 이제 랄릿 그랜드 팰리스 호텔이 되었다.[49]

샹카라차랴 사원은 도시 한복판의 언덕 꼭대기에 놓여 있다.[50]

정부와 정치

이 도시는 한 시장의 주도하에 Srinagar 시공사(SMC)에 의해 운영된다.스리나가르 지구와 인접한 부감 지구, 간데르발 지구는 스리나가르 의회 의석을 형성한다.

유기견 논란

스리나가르 시 정부는 2008년 3월 도시의 유기견 개체수를 없애기 위한 대량 중독 프로그램을 발표하면서 잠깐 동안 국제적인 관심을 끌었다.[51]관계자들은 10만 마리의 유기견들이 90만 마리 미만의 인구를 가진 도시의 거리를 배회하고 있다고 추정한다.한 비정부기구가 실시한 조사에서 일부 주민들은 이 도시가 개들로 넘쳐난다며 이 프로그램을 환영하는 반면, 비평가들은 이 동물들을 다루는데 좀 더 인간적인 방법을 사용해야 한다고 주장했다.

2011년 인구조사 기준 Srinagar 도시농축 인구는 127만3,312명이다.[13]도시와 도시 지역 모두 평균 약 70%의 [13][54]식자율을 가지고 있다.도시와 도시 밀집 지역 모두의 아동 인구는 전체 인구의 약 12%이다.[13]남성은 53.0%, 여성은 47%를 차지했다.도시 지역의 성비는 남자 1000명당 여자 888명인 반면, 도시 지역의 성비는 1,000명당 880명이다.[13][55]스리나가르의 지배적인 종교는 이슬람교로 인구의 96%가 이슬람교다.힌두교도들은 인구의 2.75%를 대표하는 두 번째로 큰 종교 집단을 이루고 있다.남아 있는 인구는 시크교도, 불교도, 제인족이다.[56][57]카슈미르 힌두교도는 1891년 인구조사 기준 스리나가르 인구의 21.9%, 2011년 인구조사[58] 기준 2.75%를 차지했다.

이 도시는 국도 1A호선국도 1D호선을 포함한 많은 고속도로가 운행한다.[59]

공기

스리나가르 국제공항, 잠무, 찬디가르, 델리, 뭄바이로 가는 정기 국내선과 때때로 국제선이 있다.국내선과 국제선 모두를 처리할 수 있는 확장 터미널이 2009년 2월 14일 두바이로 가는 에어 인디아 익스프레스 항공편으로 출범했다.하지 항공편도 이 공항에서 사우디아라비아로 운항한다.[60]

레일

스나가르는 2009년 10월부터 시작된 119km(74mi) 길이의 바니할-바라물라 노선의 역으로 바라물라와 스나가르, 아난트나그, 카지군드를 잇는 역이다.철도 선로는 또한 새로 건설된 11km 길이의 바니할 터널을 통해 피르 판잘 산을 가로질러 바니할과 연결되고, 이후 몇 년 후 인도의 철도망에도 연결된다.열차가 터널을 횡단하는 데는 약 9분 30초가 걸린다.인도에서 가장 긴 철도 터널이다.2001년에 제안된 이 철도 시스템은 550억 INR의 비용 초과로 이르면 2017년에야 인도 철도망을 연결할 것으로 예상된다.[61]기차는 폭설에도 운행한다.

2013년 12월 하리 파르밧에 있는 수피 성자 함자 막도움의 사당까지 여행할 수 있는 594m 케이블카가 공개됐다.이 프로젝트는 잠무·카슈미르 케이블카 주식회사(JKCCC)가 운영하며 25년간 구상해 왔다.3억 INR의 투자가 이루어졌으며, 카슈미르에서 굴마르크 곤돌라에 이어 두 번째 케이블카다.[64]

보트

7세기 이후 인기 있는 반면, 수상 교통은 현재 주로 달 호수에 국한되어 있으며, 이곳에서는 시카라(목선)가 지역 교통과 관광에 이용되고 있다.Jhelum 강에서 교통을 되살리기 위한 노력이 있다.[65]

문화

셰이크 바그 묘지는 영국 식민지 시대의 스리나가르에 위치한 기독교 공동묘지다.묘지에 있는 가장 오래된 무덤은 1850년 제9대 랭커스의 영국 대령의 무덤이며, 묘지는 인도에서 영국 식민지 개척자들이 직면하는 위험에 대한 통찰력을 제공하는 그곳에 묻힌 다양한 사람들의 무덤으로 평가된다.[69]2014년 홍수로 피해를 입었다.[70]그곳에는 많은 전쟁 무덤이 있다.[71]여기서 주목할 만한 간섭은 로버트 소프[72]보스트다.
