공동봉사서(CSB)는 원래 미국의 복음주의 루터교 총회, 북미 복음주의 루터교회의 총회, 남부 복음주의 루터교회의 연합회 등이 1917년 공동으로 발행한 예배서 및 찬송이다.1918년 미국 연합 루터 교회로, 그 단체에 의해.[1][2]
이 영결식은 1887년 미국 및 캐나다에서 영어를 사용하는 루터교도들 사이에서 신성한 서비스를 위한 첫 번째 소송인 공통 서비스를 채택했다. 공동 서비스(Common Service)와 찬송가(Hymnal)를 제작한 루테란 간 위원회의 업무는 ULCA를 결성하는 데 큰 도움이 되었다.[3]
1917년에 처음 출판된 텍스트 전용 판에는 찬송가를 위한 음악이 들어 있지 않았다; 1918년에 처음 출판된 찬송가 판에는 그 음악이 포함되어 있었다.[1] 간헐적 서비스 섹션도 별도로 발표되었다.[4]
