곡물배아는 식물로 자라기 위해 싹을 틔우는 생식 부분이다.[1] 그것은 씨앗배아다[2].밀기울과 함께 세균은 정제된 곡물을 생산하는 제분소[3] 부산물인 경우가 많다.곡물과 밀 배아 오일,[4] 쌀겨 기름, 옥수수기름과 같은 그 성분들은 식물성 기름을 추출하는 원천으로 사용되거나 식재료로 직접 사용될 수 있다.[5]그 세균은 통곡식품의 필수적인 부분으로 보존된다.[6]비절삭식 밀링 방법은 껍질(브란)과 세균을 모두 제거하여 밀가루로 빻은 내장을 분리하기 위한 것이다.밀기울 제거는 갈색보다는 흰색으로 밀가루를 생산하고, 영양을 줄이는 섬유질을 제거하는 것이 목적이다.이 세균에는 다불포화지방(산화 성질이 있어 저장 시 폐가 되는 경향이 있음)이 풍부해 세균을 제거하면 밀가루의 저장성이 향상된다.[7]

밀 배아

배아 또는 밀봉은 필수 지방산지방 알코올뿐만 아니라 비타민 E, 엽산(포산), 인, 티아민, 아연, 마그네슘을 포함한 몇 가지 필수 영양소의 농축된 공급원이다.[8][9]그것은 섬유질의 좋은 공급원이다.[10]흰 빵은 세균과 겨를 제거한 밀가루를 사용하여 만들어진다.[11]밀 배아균은 단백질 쉐이크, 캐서롤, 머핀, 팬케이크, 시리얼, 요구르트, 스무디, 쿠키, 그리고 다른 상품에 첨가될 수 있다.[12]밀 배아균은 냉장고나 냉동고에[13] 제대로 보관하지 않고 햇빛을 받지 않으면 폐가 될 수 있다.[14]일부 제조업체는 밀 배아를 진공 밀봉된 유리 용기에 보관하거나, 산소흡수하는 사체를 밀폐된 포장 안에 넣어 불결함을 방지한다.

기타 용도

분자생물학에서 밀 배아 추출물은 식물 배아가 mRNA를 단백질로 변환하는 데 필요한 고분자 성분을 모두 포함하고 있지만 상대적으로 낮은 수준의 자체 mRNA를 함유하고 있기 때문에 세포없는 체외 번역 실험을 수행하는 데 사용된다.[15][16]

밀 세균은 특정 당단백질에 강하게 결합하는 강연을 포함하고 있기 때문에 생화학에도 유용하다. 따라서 이러한 단백질을 분리하는 데 사용될 수 있다.
