Glasgow distillery

글래스고 증류소는 스코틀랜드 글래스고에 있는 스카치 위스키, 진, 럼주 증류소다.[1][2][3]2020년 스코틀랜드 위스키 어워드에서 양조장이 올해의 양조장으로 선정되었다.[4][5]글래스고 디스틸리는 1902년 이후 대규모 글래스고에서 처음으로 활발한 증류소였다(Clydeside 증류소는 이후 2017년 도심에서 생산을 시작했다는 점에 유의한다).[6]

위치

증류소는 글래스고 남서부의 힐링턴에 위치해 있다.[1][3][2]증류소는 M8 고속도로 근처에 있다.

양조장은 또한 글래스고 도심에 있는 웨스트 조지 가에 사무실과 관광 시설을 갖추고 있다.[7]

역사

증류소는 2012년 설립자 리암 휴즈, 마이크 헤이워드, 이안 맥두걸의 지시로 개인 투자자들의 자금으로 결성됐다.[1][6]생산은 2015년 3월 20일에 시작되었다.[1][2]

2020년에 증류소는 그것이 확장될 수 있도록 하기 위해 550만 파운드의 융자를 받았다.[8]

시설.

그 증류소에는 새로운 제조 정신과 다른 나무 통을 실험하기 위해 특별히 지어진 실험실이 있다.[1]

양조장 생산은 스코틀랜드 예술가이자 글래스고 학교와 관련된 여성 디자이너와 예술가들의 모임인 글래스고 걸스의 일부인 프랜시스 맥도날드와 마가렛 맥도날드 자매의 이름을 따서 지어졌다.[9]스틸은 연간 44만 리터(100만 병 상당)의 위스키를 생산할 수 있는 여력이 있다.[9]

그 증류소에서는 테넌트 맥주와 공동 견학을 제공한다.[7]

상품들

이 증류소는 인근 트로사츠 지역에 있는 로치 카트리네의 물을 이용하여 로우랜드 스타일의 싱글 몰트를 생산한다.[1][6]양조장에서 나온 첫 싱글 맥아는 2018년 출시됐다.[10]양조장의 핵심 병아리들 중 하나는 글래스고의 첫 번째 양조장 Dundashill (현재 건설된 1770년)에서 언급되어 1770 Glasgow Single Malte로 명명되었다.[2][6][10][11]

증류소는 마카르 글래스고 진을 생산한다.[12]

2019년 양조장은 18, 19세기 음주자들의 이름을 딴 특별판 향신료 럼주를 출시했다.[13]
