Natural resistance-associated macrophage protein 1자연저항 관련 대식세포 단백질 1은 인간에서 SLC11A1 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질이다.[5][6][7]
함수
이 유전자는 용액 운반체 11(Proton-coubled divalent metal ion transports) 계열의 일원으로 다중 통과 막 단백질을 인코딩한다.단백질은 철의 신진대사와 특정 병원균에 대한 내성에 관여하는 분열 전이 금속(철과 망간) 전달체 역할을 한다.이 유전자의 돌연변이는 결핵이나 나병 같은 전염병, 류마티스 관절염, 크론병 같은 염증성 질환에 대한 감수성과 연관되어 왔다.[8]또는 다른 단백질 등소형을 인코딩하는 분할 변형이 설명되었지만 단 하나의 전체 길이의 특성이 결정되었다.[7]
