옥타투치

Octateuch

The Octateuch (/ˈɒktətjuːk/, from Ancient Greek: ἡ ὀκτάτευχος, romanized: he oktateuchos, lit. '"eight-part book"') is a traditional name for the first eight books of the Bible, comprising the Pentateuch, plus the Book of Joshua, the Book of Judges and the Book of Ruth.[1] 이 문헌들은 전통적인 기독교 성서들에 사용된 주문을 제공한 9월 1일 8권의 책을 구성한다. 이 순서는 유대 성경의 마소레틱 본문과는 사뭇 다른데, 루스는 캐논 제3절인 케투빔의 일부로 여겨지며, 송가 뒤에 발견되어 오대 메길롯의 두 번째가 된다.[2]

에티오피아의 베타 이스라엘 유대인 사회도 옥타투치를 사용하는데, 이를 단순히 오리트족이라고 부른다.[3]
