역사

바우하우스 계획

더 바우하우스 그룹은 2015년 1월 뉴욕시 미드타운 맨해튼 동쪽에 인접한 저층 건물 3채를 확보했다.[8][9]3월에 그 회사는 고급 주거용 고층건물을 건설할 계획으로 항공권 10만 평방피트(9,300m2)와 함께 네 번째 인접 지역을 취득했다.[10][11][12]그 해 8월, 바우하우스는 3,790만 달러에 109,000평방피트(10,100m2)의 항공권을 추가로 취득했다.[13]이 탑은 포스터와 파트너스에 의해 설계되었을 것이며 높이가 약 1,000피트(300m)가 되었을 것이다.[5]바우하우스는 2015년 초 감마 부동산에서 6300만 달러의 대출을 받았고, 그해 6월 감마로부터 1억4700만 달러의 대출을 추가로 받았다.JLL이 대출을 중개했다.[14][15]

감마 부동산 인수

11월에 구역 재조정이 승인되었고, 면제를 허가하기로 한 초기 결정이 번복된 후, 연말까지 공사가 중단되었다.[55][56][57]당시 재단은 거의 완공된 상태였다.[54][58]프로젝트 반대자들은 공사 중단 노력을 계속했지만, 표준항소위원회의 승인을 거쳐 2018년 6월에 작업이 재개되었다.[59][60][61][62]2019년 6월 가로수위 이상으로 공사가 상승했고, 12월부터 전면 설치가 시작됐다.[63][64]2020년 8월 초고층 빌딩의 상단과 전면 설치가 중간 지점을 지났다.[65][2]외피 마지막 부분은 2021년 6월에 설치되었고, 8월까지 크라운 설치가 진행되었다.[66][67]완공은 2021년 말까지로 추산된다.[1]
