중앙일보(中ang日報)는 대한민국 서울에서 발행되는 일간지이다.이 신문은 한국에서 3대 신문 중 하나이며, 한국의 기록 신문이다.이 신문은 또한 인터내셔널 뉴욕 [8]타임즈와 제휴하여 영문판인 조선중앙일보를 발행하고 있다.방송국과 드라마 제작사 JTBC, 영화관 체인인 메가박스 등 다양한 계열사의 소유주여서 종종 중앙그룹 재벌의 지주회사로 여겨진다.
역사
1965년 9월 22일 동양방송(TBC)을 소유했던 삼성그룹의 창업자 이병철에 의해 처음 출판되었다.1980년 중앙일보는 TBC를 포기하고 TBC는 KBS와 합병했다.중앙일보는 수평 복사 레이아웃, 주제 섹션, 조사 취재팀 전문 기자 활용의 선구자이다.1995년 4월 15일부터 중앙일보는 수평으로 창간되었고, 이후 조간신문이 되었다.1999년 중앙일보는 [9]삼성에서 분리되었다.2007년 3월 18일자로 중앙선데이라는 일요판을 제작하였다.
영어 및 국제 문제
중앙일보는 영자판 신문으로 코리아 타임즈, 코리아 [11]헤럴드와 함께 한국의 세 개의 영자 일간지 중 하나이다.주로 직원 기자들의 뉴스와 특집 기사, 한국어 신문에서 번역한 기사들을 싣는다.한국 중앙일보는 현재 인터내셔널 뉴욕타임즈와 함께 판매되고 있다.
중앙일보는 또한 토론토에서 부에노스아이레스까지 지사를 둔 미국판을 발행한다.모회사인 중앙미디어네트워크(JMNet)는 뉴스위크와 포브스의 한국어판 발행권을 보유하고 있으며 JTBC 케이블TV 지분 25%를 보유하고 있다.
비판
중앙일보는 일부 비평가들에 의해 중앙일보를 포함한 한국에서 가장 많이 발행되는 세 개의 보수신문을 지칭하는 경멸적인 용어인 조중동의 일부로 여겨진다.이 단어는 조선, 중앙, 동아일보의 약자로, 한국 보수 언론의 기반을 [12]형성하고 있는 것으로 보인다.이 용어는 2000년 10월 한겨레 편집장 [13]정연주에 의해 사용되었다.한국의 진보주의자들은 주로 조중동을 비판하는데 그들의 보수 편향적인 편집 자세와 유착적이고 은밀한 방식으로 사업을 하기 때문이다.2010년 현재 조선, 중앙, 동아일보의 시장점유율은 각각 [14]24.3%, 21.8%, 18.3%다.
