투표권은 2019년 1월 브렉시트 제2 국민투표 개최를 주창했던 보수당 하원의원과 동료 의원들로 구성된 단체로 구성됐다.2019년 여름, 이 그룹은 접었다.[3]
투표권은 영국 정부가 유럽연합(EU)과의 탈퇴 협정에 대한 첫 번째 의미 있는 투표에서 패소한 여파로 설립됐다.[4]

2019년 여름, 투표권 캠페인은 그 그룹과 접고 나서 그들의 웹사이트를 삭제했다.[3]
그러나, 국민 투표를 위한 공식 보수당 (C4PV)과 국민 투표를 위한 젊은 보수당 (YC4)이 있다.PV)는 2019년 10월 '우리에게 들려줘' 행진에 참가하는 확정 국민투표 운동을 계속했다.[6]두 그룹 모두 2020년 1월 정식으로 해산했다.[7]
