라카나
Lakana
라카나 또는 라카라고도 알려진 라카나는 마다가스카르의 말라가시족의 전통적인 외래종 카누이다. 더그아웃 메인 선체가 있는 싱글 아웃트리거 카누다. 전통적으로 오스트로네시아 게발톱 돛을 달고 달렸으나 대부분의 현대식 라카나는 모터 엔진을 장착하고 있다. 이 보트는 흔히 프랑스의 일반적인 용어인 "피로그"에서 언급되는데, 이 용어는 현외 장치가 없는 보트를 포함할 수 있다.[1] 이 기술은 탄자니아 나갈라와 풀라니 라아나처럼 이웃한 동아프리카에서 각색되었다.[2][3]
