자그란

힌두교의 여신 데비를 기리는 자그란.
자그란(Jagran, जाataण) 또는 자그라타(Jagrata) 또는 자그는 힌두교의 의식으로, 주로 북인도에 만연하고 있으며, 신과 부자를 기리는 철야, 노래, 춤으로 구성되어 있다. 종종, 자그란은 칸도바나[1] 데브나라얀과 같은 다양한 민속 신들뿐만 아니라 다양한 힌두 여신들(데비), 시바를 기리며 행해진다.[2] 신자들은 밤새도록 바잔(bhajans)을 부르고, 아아르티를 읊으며 신에 대한 전설을 들으며 신에게 경배한다.[3]
