SLC22A12와 URAT1로도 알려진 솔루트 운반체 22(유기 음이온/음향 트랜스포터)는 인간에게 SLC22A12 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질이다.[5][6]
함수
이 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질은 혈액 속의 요산염 수치를 조절하는 요산수송기와 요산수송기 이다.이 단백질은 주로 신장에서 발견되는 필수 막 단백질이다.다른 ISO 양식을 인코딩하는 두 개의 대본 변형이 이 유전자에 대해 발견되었다.[5]
임상적 유의성
이 유전자의 수많은 단일 뉴클레오티드 다형성은 신장에 의한 요산의 변형(증가 또는 감소) 재흡수와 유의하게 관련되어 있다.[7][8]각각, 이러한 재흡수의 변화된 비율은 고혈당혈증과 저혈당혈증에 기여한다.
상호작용
SLC22A12는 PDZK1과 상호작용하는 것으로 나타났다.[9]
억제
레시누라드와 도티누라드는 통풍 치료를 위해 승인된 요산 운반 억제제다.[10][11]레시누라드는 관의 재흡수를 억제하여 소변 배설을 강화한다.프로벤시드는 요산 분비를 촉진하기도 한다.[12][13]
