함수

이 유전자가 인코딩한 비계 단백질은 종양 괴사 인자 수용체 관련 인자(TRAF) 단백질 계열의 일원으로 메프린과 TRAF 호몰로지(MATH) 영역, RING형 아연 핑거, TRAF형 아연 핑거 2개를 포함하고 있다.TRAF 단백질은 TNF 수용체 슈퍼 패밀리의 멤버들로부터의 신호 전달과 연관되고 중재된다.이 단백질은 종양 괴사 인자(TNF) 수용체 세포질 영역에 결합해 TNF 유도 활성화를 매개하는 복합 단백질 성분 중 하나이다.대체 전사 스플라이스 변형이 특징적이다.[6]
