Bidirectional traffic
교통 기반 시설에서, 양방향 교통 시스템은 여행자를 반대 방향으로 흐르는 두 개의 교통 흐름으로 나눈다.[1]
터널의 설계와 건설에서 양방향 트래픽은 환기 고려사항에 현저하게 영향을 미칠 수 있다.[2]
양방향 자동차, 보행자, 철도 교통을 위해 미시적인 교통 흐름 모델이 제안되었다.[3] 양방향 교통은 개미 산책로에서[4] 관찰될 수 있으며, 이것은 인간 교통 모델에 대한 통찰력을 위해 연구되었다.[5] 라발이 제안한 거시적 이론에서, 빠른 차량과 느린 차량 사이의 상호작용은 움직이는 병목현상의 뉴웰 키네마틱 파동 모델을 따른다.[6]
항공 교통 관제에서 교통은 일반적으로 고도별로 구분되며, 동쪽 방향 비행은 고도 천 피트 이상에서, 서쪽 방향 비행은 고도 천 피트(1 000 ft even 305m)에서 이루어진다. 28,000 ft(~8.5km) 이상에서는 동쪽 방향 비행의 경우 FL 290, 330, 370 등, 서쪽 방향 비행의 경우 FL 310, 350, 390 등 홀수 비행 수준만 사용된다.[7] 활주로가 항공기의 이착륙을 허용하고 지상 속도를 줄이기 위해 선택되기 때문에 공항 출입은 항상 일방통행이다.[8] 어떤 바람의 경우에도 충돌 방지를 위해 보통 모든 비행에서 선호하는 차분한 바람의 활주로와 방향을 선택하고 사용한다.[9] 통제되지 않는 공항에서는 공항의 누구라도 공항 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 교통은 특정 교통 패턴을 따르며, 지정된 출입구와 출구가 있다. 누가 듣든 말든 라디오 방송을 통해 그 지역의 다른 교통량을 알 수 있다.[10]
영국의 철도 초창기에는, 대부분의 노선이 전화 이전의 시간에는 운항을 조정하기 어렵기 때문에 이중 추적으로 건설되었다.
대부분의 현대적인 도로들은 양방향 교통을 통한다. 단방향 교통은 밀집한 도시 중심부에서 흔히 볼 수 있다.[citation needed] 양방향 트래픽 흐름은 교통 충돌 속도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 생각된다. 사이먼-구토위츠 양방향 교통모델을 바탕으로 정면충돌, 후방충돌, 차선변경 충돌 등을 분석한 결과, "한 차선의 차량 밀도가 작고 다른 차선의 밀도가 충분히 높을 때 충돌 위험이 중요하다" "중형차량이 중요한 감축을 초래한다"는 결론이 나왔다."홈레인의 교통 흐름과 자동차 사고 위험의 증가를 유발한다.[11]
양방향 교통은 산책로에서 관측되는 가장 일반적인 흐름 형태지만, 일부 대형 보행자 뇌관은 다방향 교통을 나타낸다.[12]
