NASA 우주인 그룹 15("The Flying Escargot")는 1994년 12월 8일 발표된 23명의 NASA 우주인 그룹이다.[1][2]그룹 멤버들은 프랑스 출신의 두 멤버를 언급하면서 The Flying Escargot을 그들의 모니커로 채택했다.[3]이 단체에는 10명의 조종사와 9명의 선교 전문가, 그리고 4명의 프랑스,[4][5][6] 캐나다[7], 일본 출신의 국제 선교 전문가 훈련생들이 참가하였다.[7]

이 그룹의 세 멤버, 릭 남편, 마이클 P. 앤더슨칼파나 차울라는 컬럼비아 우주왕복선 참사로 사망했다.[8]이 세 사람은 의회 우주 명예훈장을 받았다.[9][10][11]

그룹 파멜라 멜로이(Pamela Melroy)의 또 다른 멤버는 조 바이든 미국 대통령이 임명한 2021년 6월 21일 NASA 부행정관으로 취임했다.[12]
