세포질 티로신-단백질 키나아제 BMX 는 인간에서 BMX 유전자 에 의해 암호화된 효소 다.[5] [6]
함수 티로신 키나아제 는 투과체와 세포외 영역을 포함하는 수용체 분자 또는 세포내부에 위치한 비수용체 단백질이다.비수용자 TK의 한 계열에는 TEC , TXK , ITK , BTK 라는 유전자가 포함되어 있다. 이 모든 단백질은 드로소필라 Src28 TK의 동음이의어로서 TK 도메인의 상류쪽에 SH3 와 SH2 도메인을 포함하고 있다.[6]
