티로신단백질키나아제6는 인간에서 PTK6 유전자에 의해 암호화된 효소다.[5][6][7]
함수
Tyrosine-단백질 키나아제 6(Breast tumor kinase)는 상피조직에서[7] 세포내 신호 변환기 역할을 할 수 있는 세포질 비수용체 단백질 키나아제다.암호화된 단백질은 자가인산화를 겪는 것으로 나타났다.[7]
임상적 유의성
유방 상피세포에서 이 유전자를 과도하게 압박하면 세포가 표피 성장 인자로 감작되어 부분적으로 변형된 표현형을 갖게 된다.이 유전자의 발현은 일부 유방종양에서는 낮은 수치에서 발견되었지만 정상 유방조직에서는 발견되지 않았다.[7]
상호작용
PTK6는 STAP2[8] 및 KHDRBS1과 상호작용하는 것으로 나타났다.[9]
