티암페니콜

암페니콜은 페닐프로파노이드 구조를 가진 항생제의 일종이다. 그것들은 박테리아의 50S 리보솜 하위단위에 있는 펩티딜전달효소를 차단하여 기능한다.[1]

암페니콜의 예로는 클로로페니콜, 티암페니콜, 아지담피니콜, 플로레니콜 등이 있다. 1등급 화합물은 클로로페니콜로 1949년에 도입되었다. 클로로페니콜은 처음에는 천연물로 발견되어 스테프토미케스 베네수엘라 토양세균으로부터 격리되었지만,[2] 현재 모든 암페니콜은 화학 합성에 의해 만들어진다.[3]
