Google Podcasts는 Google에서 개발하여 2018년 6월 18일 안드로이드 [3][4]장치용으로 출시한 팟캐스트 애플리케이션입니다.

2018년 9월 구글 캐스트 지원이 구글 [5]팟캐스트에 추가되었습니다.

구글 I/O 2019에서 구글은 iOS, 안드로이드, 윈도우용 구글 [6]팟캐스트의 웹 버전을 발표했다.

iOS 버전은 2020년 [7][8]3월에 출시되었습니다.

2019년 11월, Google Material [9]Theme를 사용하여 재설계되었습니다.

2020년 5월 12일, 구글은 사용자들이 Google Play [10]Music에서 Google 팟캐스트로 팟캐스트 구독과 이력을 전송할 수 있다고 발표했다.
