Cytosolic phospholipase A2는 인간에서 PLA2G4A 유전자에 의해 암호화된 효소다.[5][6]
함수
이 유전자는 세포질인산화효소 A2 그룹 IV 계열의 구성원을 인코딩한다.이 효소는 막인산인산화물의 가수분해를 촉진하여 아라크디돈산을 방출하고, 이후 아로코사노이드로 대사된다.프로스타글란딘과 백혈병 등 에이코사노이드(eicosanoids)는 혈류역학, 염증반응, 기타 세포내 경로를 조절하는 지질성 세포호르몬이다.가수분해 반응은 또한 혈소판 활성화 인수로 변환되는 라이소포스포리피드를 생성한다.효소는 세포내 Ca2+ 수치 증가와 인산화 작용에 의해 활성화되며, 그 결과 세포돌과 핵에서 핵세포막 염소로 변환된다.[6]
상호작용
PLA2G4A는 HTATIP와 상호작용하는 것으로 나타났다.[7]
임상적 유의성
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 소장의 다초점 협착 궤양과 관련이 있다.[8]
