Bhoksa라고도 알려진 Bhoksa는 주로 인도의 우타라칸드 주와 우타르프라데시 주에 사는 토착 민족이다. 이들은 대부분 히말라야 외곽 기슭의 데흐라둔과 나인리탈 지역에 집중되어 있다.[3] 그들은 또한 우타르프라데시 주의 비즈노르 지구에서 발견되는데, 그곳에서 그들은 메흐라로 알려져 있다. 두 지역사회는 모두 스케줄링된 부족 지위를 부여받았다.

역사

복사는 북사어를 말한다.[4]

이 언어는 주로 남서부 나이나리탈 지역에서 람나가르에서 디네슈푸르에 이르는 대각선을 따라 우타라칸드에서 사용된다. 키하와 카시푸르테실 130여 개 마을, 비즈너와 파우리 가르활 지구 일부 마을 등에서 전해진다.[citation needed]

현재 상황

2001년 현재 우타라칸드의 보크사는 인도 정부의 적극적 조치 유보 프로그램에 따라 '예정된 부족'으로 분류되었다.[5] 북사로서 우타르프라데시에도 유사하게 분류된다.[6]
