FBA의 Stephen Shennan은 영국의 고고학자 겸 학술가다. 1996년부터 이론 고고학 교수로 재직하고 있다. 그는 2005년부터 2014년까지 런던대학 고고학 연구소 소장을 지냈다.^[1]

셴난은 진화 생태학 및 피복류학에서 나온 이론을 고고학에 적용하면서 문화적 진화와 다윈 고고학에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 2006년 7월, 셰넌은 영국 아카데미 회원으로 선출되었다.^[1]
