구아닌 뉴클레오티드 결합 단백질 G(I)/G(S)/G(O) 서브유닛 감마-3 는 인간에서 GNG3 유전자 에 의해 인코딩되는 단백질 이다.[5] [6]
G 단백질은 알파, 베타, 감마 서브유닛의 헤테로트라이머다. GNG3와 같은 감마 서브유닛은 G 단백질을 포함하는 수백 개의 수용체 신호 경로의 특수성에 기여한다(Schwindinger et al., 2004). [OMIM에 의해 제공][6]
