수용체형 티로신-단백질 포스파타아제 알파는 PTPRA [5][6][7]유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 암호화되는 효소이다.
기능.
이 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질은 단백질 티로신 포스파타아제(PTP) 계열의 구성원이다.PTP는 세포 성장, 분화, 유사분열 주기, 그리고 발암성 변형을 포함한 다양한 세포 과정을 조절하는 신호 분자로 알려져 있다.이 PTP는 세포외 도메인, 단일 막간 세그먼트 및 2개의 탠덤 세포질 내 촉매 도메인을 포함하므로 수용체형 PTP를 나타낸다.이 PTP는 Src 패밀리 티로신 키나제를 탈인산화 및 활성화하는 것으로 나타났으며 인테그린 시그널링, 세포 접착 및 증식에 관여한다.두 개의 서로 다른 동질 형태를 코드하는 이 유전자의 세 가지 대체 스플라이스 변형이 보고되었다.[7]
