'원 댄스'는 캐나다 래퍼 드레이크가 네 번째 스튜디오 앨범 Views(2016년)에 수록한 곡이다. 나이지리아 의복 아티스트 위즈키드와 영국 가수 카일라의 게스트 보컬이 돋보인다.[2] 이 예술가들은 위즈키드의 제작 지원을 받아 공동 프로듀서인 Nein85, 노아 "40" 셰비브와 함께 댄스 홀과 옷을 입은 노래를 공동 작곡했다.[3][4] Crazy Countainz와 Kyla는 2008년 영국 펑키곡 "Do You Mind"[5]의 샘플링으로 작사 크레딧을 받았다.

'원 댄스'는 2016년 4월 5일 디지털 다운로드용으로 발매되었으며, 2016년 4월 12일 미국의 도시·리듬·현대 히트 라디오에 서비스되었다.[6][7][8] '원 댄스'는 뷰의 발매일이 발표된 직후 '팝스타일'과 함께 발매되었다. 'One Dance'는 'Controlla', 'Too Good'와 함께 Views에서 발매된 세 개의 댄스홀 싱글 중 첫 번째 댄스홀이었다.[9][10]

'원 댄스'는 호주·캐나다·프랑스·독일·아일랜드·네덜란드·뉴질랜드·스위스·영국·미국 등 15개국에서 1위에 오르며 드레이크의 리드 아티스트로는 첫 1위 싱글이 됐다. 미국 빌보드 핫 100에서 10주 연속 1위를 차지했고, 정상회의에서 15주 연속 영국 싱글 차트 공동 2위 연속 1위에 올랐다. 피처링 아티스트 위즈키드는 나이지리아 아티스트로는 최초로 미국 빌보드 핫 100에서 1위를 차지했으며,[11] '원 댄스'는 드레이크를 피처링한 리한나의 '워크'에 이어 2016년 두 번째로 빌보드 핫 100에서 1위를 차지했다.

2016년 9월 7일, 빌보드는 "One Dance"를 2016년 여름의 노래로 명명했다.[12] 2016년 12월 현재 미국에서 200만 장이 팔리며 올해 5번째로 많이 팔린 곡이다.[13] 애플 뮤직은 올해 최고의 연주곡이었다.[14] 2016년 10월 15일 '원 댄스'는 스트리밍 미디어 서비스 스포티파이에서 10억 개 이상의 개별 스트림을 기록하며 래저 소령과 DJ 스네이크의 'Lean On'[15][16][17]이 보유하고 있던 종전 기록을 제치고 역대 최다 재생곡이 되었다. 2017년 9월 21일 스포티파이에서 가장 많이 스트리밍된 곡으로 에드 시런의 'Shape of You'가 'One Dance'를 추월했다. '원 댄스'는 2016년[18] 전 세계에서 가장 좋은 성적을 낸 싱글로, 역대 최고 판매 디지털 싱글 중 하나이다.

배경 및 릴리스

초반 2016년에서, 영국 펑키 한 예술가 카일라 먼저 드레이크의 생산 부문에서 그녀의 2008년 노래"당신은(크레이지 Cousinz remix)조심해 마세요"의 드레이크와 나이지리아 예술가 Wizkid,[19]과 드레이크 1년 이전에 영국 때 예술가 Skepta을 통해, Wizkid의 노래 Oj의 리믹스에 출근하기 위해 만난 새로운 afrobeats과dancehall 노래의 활용에 관한 연락을 받았어요.uelegba.[20] 드레이크는 몇 년 전부터 카일라의 노래 팬이어서 프로듀서인 제나인85호에게 신곡의 가교로 'Do You Mind (Crazy Ciantz remix)'를 사용하도록 설득했다고 한다.[20] 이어 'Do You Mind'는 남아프리카공화국 DJ Maphorisa가 위즈키드의 배경 보컬을 추가하기 전에 템포를 늦춘 작업을 했다.[21] '원 댄스' 제작은 2016년 3월 드레이크의 '컨트롤라'(자메이카 댄스홀 아티스트 팝카안이 출연한 원작)가 인터넷에 유출되는 등 유출될 우려가 있어 일주일 만에 마무리됐고 2016년 4월 초 빠르게 출시됐다.[19][22] 드레이크는 위즈키드의 '원 댄스' 작업 외에도 같은 시간 녹음된 위즈키드 트랙 '컴 클로져'에 보컬을 제공했지만 1년 뒤인 2017년 3월 발매됐다.[23]

드레이크와 그의 팀은 "One Dance"가 그의 이전 작품에서 상당한 변화라고 생각했기 때문에 개봉하자마자 어떻게 받아들여질지 확신하지 못했다. 그래서 그들은 그것이 좀 더 전통적인 랩 음반이라고 느꼈고 따라서 그것이 부정적이었다면 비판을 완화시킬 것이기 때문에 The R좌석 (Kanye West and Jay Z)이 수록된 "팝 스타일"과 공동으로 발매하기로 결정했다.[20]

모국인 캐나다에서는 2016년[56] 4월 23일 주 캐나다 빌보드 핫 100에서 13위로 데뷔한 싱글이 2016년 4월 30일 주 2위로 올라섰다.[57] 2016년 5월 7일 주, 드레이크는 2016년 3월 리한나와 '워크'에서 공동 1위를 차지하며 모국 캐나다에서 리드 아티스트로서 첫 번째 1위를 차지했다.[58][59]

뮤직비디오 부족

공연 및 리믹스
