  • 폴 에스파가로는 포르투갈 라운드 연습 2에서 수많은 부상을 당하면서 아르헨티나 라운드부터 7개 대회 연속 그랑프리에 불참했습니다.[78][79] 그는 아르헨티나 라운드에서 교체되지 않았지만, 아메리카 라운드부터 요나스 폴거에 의해 교체되었습니다.[62]

규칙 변경사항

스프린트 경주는 모든 그랑프리에서 도입되었습니다. 스프린트는 그랑프리 주말마다 토요일에 열렸으며 총 경주 거리의 약 50%였습니다. 12–9–7–6–5–4–3–2–1 기준으로 상위 9명의 선수에게 포인트가 주어졌으며, 이는 슈퍼바이크 월드 챔피언십 슈퍼폴 레이스에서 사용되는 시스템과 유사합니다. 스프린트 경기와 그랑프리 경기의 그리드는 모두 1분기부터 2분기까지의 형식을 유지한 예선부터 설정되었습니다. 결과적으로 연습 시간과 준비 운동 시간도 하나 줄었습니다.[1][2] 스프린트 레이스 우승은 일반 그랑프리 우승으로 간주되지 않으며 대신 자체 "스프린트 레이스 우승" 통계가 있습니다.[92]

주말 형식은 모든 행사마다 고정되어 있었습니다. Moto3가 Moto2, MotoGP가 그 뒤를 이었습니다.[1]

최소 타이어 공기압 규칙이 시행되었습니다.[93] 오토바이가 이동하는 동안 앞좌석 높이를 변경하거나 조정하는 장치는 사용이 금지되었습니다.[94]

영국 라운드부터 지금은 간단히 "Practice"라고 불리는 매주 금요일의 두 번째 연습 세션의 결과만 퀄리파잉 2에 직접 참가할 수 있는 시간을 정했습니다. 금요일의 첫 번째 연습 세션과 토요일의 연습 세션은 이제 각각 "자유 연습 1"과 "자유 연습 2"로 불렸고, 두 세션의 결과는 직접적인 Q2 분류에 고려되지 않을 것입니다.[95]
