데임 헨리에타 루이즈 무어, DBE, FBA, FAcSS (1957년 5월 18일 출생)는 영국의 사회 인류학자다. 그녀는 UCL의 빌드 환경 교수인 바틀렛의 일부인 런던대학교(UCL)의 글로벌 번영을 위한 연구소의 소장을 맡고 있다.

초년기

무어는 1979년에 고고학과 인류학에서 상위 2위로 더럼 대학을 졸업했다.[2] 그녀는 1983년에 박사학위를 수료하면서 케임브리지의 뉴햄 대학에서 공부를 계속했다.[3]

경력

대학을 졸업한 후 무어는 유엔에서 현장 감독으로 1년을 버키나파소에서 일했다.[3] 그 후 그녀는 1985년 켄트 대학교 사회인류학 강사로 입교하기 전에 케임브리지 대학의 고고학 인류학 박물관의 큐레이터가 되었다.[3] 무어는 결국 캠브리지에 강사로 재입사했고, 그곳에서 그녀는 기튼 대학의 인류학 연구 책임자가 되었고 1989년에 펨브로크 대학의 펠로우가 되었다.[3]

런던 경제대학원의 사회인류학에서 일련의 학문적 임명 후 무어는 캠브리지 대학의 사회인류학 석좌 윌리엄 와이세(William Wyse의 사회인류학 석좌를 맡았다. 2009년에 무어는 케임브리지의 예수 대학교의 교수 동료가 되었다.[3]

무어는 레크가 제안한 이민 제한에 대해 비판적이었다.2016년 영국 유럽연합 회원국 국민투표를 앞두고 있는 EU.[4] 그녀는 변경 관리를 전문으로 하는 컨설팅 회사인 SHM 그룹의 회장 겸 공동 창업자다.[5]

명예

그녀는 사회과학에 대한 봉사로 2016년 새해 영예의 대영제국 훈장 데임 사령관으로 임명되었다.[6]

그녀는 2007년에 영국 아카데미 회원으로 선출되었다.[7] 1995년 무어와 메간 본은 1890년 잠비아 북부 지방의 "나무 자르기: 성별, 영양, 농업 변화"라는 책으로 아프리카 연구 협회로부터 허스코비트 상을 받았다.[8]

2014년에 무어는 퀸즈 대학교 벨파스트로부터 명예 학위를 받았다.[9]
