포키스타트 메뉴는 윈도 8 PC의 시작 메뉴 대체품이다.[9][13][14][15]Pokki Start 메뉴는 프로그램과 앱을 찾아 실행하기 위한 중앙 지점, 폴더와 파일에 액세스하기, 컴퓨터와 웹 검색, 설정 관리, 종료 등 Windows 시작 메뉴의 핵심 기능을 반환한다.포키스타트 메뉴에는 중앙집중식 알림센터, 스마트폰처럼 앱, 사이트, 파일, 폴더, 앱 추천 서비스, 픽스타(인스타그램 데스크톱 앱)와 같은 무료 웹 및 데스크톱 앱 접속도 있다.[16]다운로드에 포함된 포키 앱스토어는 무료로 연결되고 다운로드 가능한 윈도 데스크톱 앱과 게임을 제공하는 앱스토어다.[17][18]
